Sangama and Mekedaatu
Sangama is a conflux of two rivers – Arkavathi and Cauvery which can be enjoyed both during summer and monsoon. There is a danger of crocodiles being watched here and so it is advised to be careful.
Mekedatu is an another beautiful water body which is located at just 4 km from Sangam. If it is summer, you can cross the Sangam by walking in the river and reach Mekedatu but during the rainy season, you will have to take boats. Once you cross the river, you can walk or take a bus to reach Mekedatu (Rs.50 per head).
