Upendra is currently in the final and most important leg of filming for his upcoming directorial, UI. But before that, the team announced Varaha Roopam fame Ajaneesh Loknath to compose music in the film.

Kannada cinema fans are eagerly anticipating the return of Upendra as director after several years. The Kabzaa actor began his career as a writer-director with a bang in the early 1990s and has several cult hits to his name, including Om, A, Upendra, Super, and the more recent Uppi 2. Upendra’s unusual ideas and unique characteristics have grown to be extremely popular among his fans, who are now eagerly awaiting any updates on Upendra’s eleventh film.
According to the latest update from the team, Ajaneesh Loknath has been appointed to compose music for UI. With his work in Vikrant Rona and Kantara, Ajaneesh had a blockbuster in 2022. It will be the first time Ajaneesh will be composing music for a film directed by Upendra
“UI marks the first time Ajaneesh is composing for Upendra’s directorial. The film is expected to have four tracks,” quoted Indian Express.

Meanwhile, Upendra shared that UI might release later this year, and the team is working to meet the target date. “There is no such thing as simple or complicated. Every filmmaker has their own style, and I prefer conveying my thoughts to the audience in a manner that can be better understood once they watch the film,” the actor told Indian Express.
While speaking more about the film, the Kabzaa actor kept details under wraps because he wants the audience to witness everything firsthand. Despite the fact that UI is a multilingual film, Upendra believes it transcends language barriers because it addresses a global issue.
“In addition to being multilingual, I aim to reach out to a global audience. It’s an entertaining subject yet it tackles a significant global issue.”
Reeshma Nanaiah plays the female lead in UI, which is produced by G Manoharan’s Lahari Films and KP Sreekanth’s Venus Entertainers. Sunny Leone and Nidhi Subbaiah are set to play pivotal roles.
