Reacting to the nepotism allegations, actor and filmmaker Pooja Bhatt took to Twitter to share her thoughts about the whole issue. She reminded Kangana that it was her home production that launched her.
The team of Kangana Ranaut has hit back at Pooja Bhatt in a statement that was released on Wednesday. In the statement, Kangana Ranaut question Mahesh Bhatt’s intentions of getting involved in the relationship of Sushant Singh Rajput and Rhea Chakraborty. She also accused Mahesh Bhatt of humiliating her and even alleged that the filmmaker had thrown chappals at her.
Clearing the claim that Vishesh Films launched her, Kangana gave credit to Anurag Basu for choosing her and she also said that she chose Gangster over Pokiri. The statement by the team read,
“Dear Pooja Bhatt, Anurag Basu had keen eyes to spot Kangana’s talent, everyone knows Mukesh Bhatt does not like to pay artists, to get talented people for free is a favor many studios do on themselves but that doesn’t give your father a license to throw chappals at her.. call her mad and humiliate her.”
Mahesh Bhatt Was Involved In Sushant’s Relationship?
The statement then went onto accuse Mahesh Bhatt’s involvement in Sushant’s death. The statement further said,
“Also, why was he invested in Sushant Singh Rajput’s and Rhea’s relationship? Why did he announce his end too, some of the questions you must ask him, Pooja Bhatt.”
Pooja Bhatt had lashed out on the nepotism trollers on Wednesday when she wrote a twitter thread saying,
“Have been asked to comment on the hot topic nepotism that people are raging about. As someone who hails from a ‘family’ that has launched more new talent-actors, musicians & technicians, than the entire film industry combined I can only laugh. Facts don’t find takers. Fiction does. As for Kangana Ranaut – She is a great talent, if not she wouldn’t have been launched by Vishesh films in Gangster. Yes, Anurag Basu discovered her, but Vishesh films backed his vision & invested in the film. No small feat. Here’s wishing her the very best in all her endeavors.”
