Recently, Rashmika Mandanna has been grabbing headlines for all the wrong reasons. The actress, who recently made her Bollywood debut with Goodbye, seems to be in big trouble once again, thanks to her recent remarks during an interview with Curly Tales.
Ungrateful Rashmika
According to a viral Tweet that is going viral on the microblogging platform, Rashmika might get banned by the Kannada film industry for being “ungrateful” to Kannada actor-producer Rakshit Shetty’s production house, which gave the actress her first film.
The actress recently had an interaction with the media where she spoke at length about her journey of becoming an actress. While she talked about how she was never planning on becoming an actor and how she got her first break with Kirik Party that made her an overnight star, she withheld from mentioning the name of the production house Paramvah Studios, co-founded by Rakshit Shetty, her former fiance.
After her statement went viral, netizens slammed her for disrespecting Rishab Shetty and his production house. Amid this, a video of Kannada actor Kiccha Sudeep also went viral on social media where the actor is heard giving a sharp reaction to Rashmika’s statement.
Sudeep responds
According to a YouTube channel, Vikrant Rona actor is heard saying, “You Know what? One should speak directly. Just hear how some ‘Squirrels’ are speaking,” said Sudeep, claims the video. Later the video also has a clip where Rashmika is seen talking about her career as an actress and later withheld from mentioning the name of the production house Paramvah Studios, co-founded by Rakshit Shetty, her former fiance.
Well, it looks like the video is fake and the clip that had Sudeep speaking was an old video of him. The clip is edited by some fans to target Pushpa 2 actress.
Meanwhile, after the Rashmika controversy, it’s being speculated that Kannada theatre owners, organizations, and the film industry are offended by the 26-year-old’s statement and even planning to take an action against her by banning her upcoming films Pushpa 2 and Varisu in Karnataka.
