After many issues and controversies that came into the limelight, the towing of vehicles parked in the wrong spaces was halted temporarily. This was a collective decision to ensure smooth work and people-friendly towing activity to take place. After much deliberation, new rules are going to be made, here are the likely changes that we can possibly expect.

The new likely changes:

• A Police personnel has to strictly accompany the towing vehicle and boys who lift the vehicles.
• If a vehicle is parked in the no-parking zone, its video has to be made so that proof of the pickup and the reason is available.
• The Police personnel has to first announce the registration number of the vehicle, wait for 5 minutes and only then pick up the vehicle.
• The vehicle has to be pictured before the pickup, so there is proof that no damage is done.
• If there is any damage to the vehicle, the towing agencies are only responsible for the same.
