Congress supporter Tehseen Poonawalla who is known to have strong views has come out and criticized the UP Police by calling the encounter of Vikas Dubey’s aide Prabhat Mishra as fake.
As per reports, two gangsters who were working closely with Vikas Dubey were shot dead by the Uttar Pradesh police in two separate encounters. One of them was Prabhat Mishra who was also called Kartikeya was arrested by the Special Task Force. He was being brought to Kanpur. The Special Task Force official said,
“Our vehicle was in the Panki area in Kanpur when it developed a snag. As the vehicle was being repaired, Prabhat Mishra tried to snatch the pistol of an inspector and opened fire at the STF team. He was shot dead in retaliatory firing.”
Tehseen Poonawalla took to Twitter to express his thoughts. In his tweet, he wrote,
“This fictional story makes NO SENSE @Uppolice. For starters, why were Prabhat Mishra’s hands not tied with ropes? Why did @Uppolice not anticipate the worst? (That’s part of the SOPs). Why was the pistol not attached via a rope to the uniform & locked? Why did you take an old van?”
Vikas Dubey Arrested
Another aide of Vikas Dubey, Ranvir alias Bauan Shukla was shot dead by the Special Task Force while he was trying to flee in a car. Senior Superintendent of Police Etawah Akash Tomar said that they received a tip that Ranvir was evading in a Swift Desire. He said,
“When we tried to intercept the car in the Civil lines area, the miscreants opened fire at the police. Bauan Shukla was killed in retaliatory firing. Three other miscreants who were following in a Scorpio managed to flee. We have cordoned off the area and a search is on for them.”
On Wednesday, Vikas Dubey’s closest aide Amar Dubey was killed in an encounter in the Hamirpur district. Amar was also the nephew of Vikas Dubey. On Thursday, Gangster Vikas Dubey who was responsible for the death of 8 Uttar Pradesh cops last week has been finally arrested in Ujjain. The police nabbed him from a Mahakali Temple in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh.
