Depression was cited to be the reason, and reports are now coming in that the Police have found medical prescriptions and medicines for the treatment of depression at his residence.
A few friends were staying over at his residence
It is being reported that a few friends of the actor were staying over at his residence. In the morning, when they knocked at the door of his room, they did not receive any response. It is then that they broke into his room and found the actor hanging.

The early speculations suggested that depression might have driven Sushant to take the drastic decision. However, no suicide note was recovered from his residence. Following a search, the police have now found medical prescriptions and medicines for the treatment of depression at his residence. With this, it has almost been confirmed that Sushant committed suicide out of depression.
Meanwhile, Bollywood is shocked by the untimely demise of the actor. Most actors are taking to Twitter to offer condolences and grieve the loss that the industry has suffered.
