In what was a piece of shocking news for the entire country today, talented Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide at his residence in Mumbai on Sunday. It is being reported that the actor was driven by depression to take the drastic step.
Bollywood condoles the actor’s untimely demise
As soon as the news started doing the rounds, Bollywood took to social media to offer condolences and grieve the loss of the actor. Many celebrities such as Shahrukh Khan, Akshay Kumar, and Karan Johar expressed their shock at hearing the news.

At the same time, multiple debates have been going around on social media which suggested that Bollywood may have not come to the rescue of the actor, who was struggling with depression. Here is what ‘Bigg Boss 6’ contestant and celebrity hairstylist Sapna Bhavnani had to say about the matter:

Meanwhile, here is what popular Bollywood celebrity Karan Johar posted on Instagram regarding Sushant’s demise. The duo had worked together on the Netflix film ‘Drive’.
Karan Johar said that he blames himself for not being in touch with the actor, although he felt that the actor could be having a few problems.
On the other side, it is also being speculated that, in recent months, Sushant was going through a tough time in his professional life. His staff had reportedly left him, and Sushant did not have any projects in hand, as per various statements.
