Gold medal for students in Puneeth’s name
Recently, the University of Mysore has awarded Puneeth Rajkumar with an honorary doctorate. The school also announced that every year students will be awarded two gold medals in the name of Puneeth and Parvathamma for their excellence.
Chief Minister Basavaraja Bommai has also announced the Karnataka Ratna Award to the late actor, who has been a role model for everyone. However, the award ceremony has not been finalized yet.
Speaking on the same CM said that Puneeth will be given the ‘Karnataka Ratna’ award after discussions with his family members about the event. Later, a committee will be formed to organize the occasion to honor the late actor.
