The 19-year-old army aspirant from Uttarakhand became an internet star after a video of him running home from work at midnight spread like wildfire. The boy aims to join the Indian army and runs for 10 km from his work in Noida’s sector 16 to his home in Barola.
After his video was posted on Twitter by filmmaker Vinod Kapri, several people tried to help him live his dream. On the latest, retail brand Shoppers Stop has given a huge amount for his mother’s treatment.
Pradeep’s struggles
Pradeep had earlier informed in one of his viral videos about his life struggles and how his family was working hard to help her mother who is being treated at a hospital.
After this video, many people offered help. Mega retail brand, Shopper’s Stop took that ambition and gave a check of Rs 2.5 lakh to Pradeep for his mother’s treatment and to follow his dreams.
Vinod Kapri tweeted about the same. “Midnight runner Pradeep Mehra is overwhelmed with all the love and support,” Kapri tweeted on March 30. “Shopper’s Stop gave a cheque of Rs 2.5 lakh to him for his mother’s treatment and pursue his dreams. God bless you guys.”
