Ranbir Kapoor’s sister Riddhima Kapoor has come out and denied rumors that Ranbir Kapoor, mother Neetu Kapoor, and Karan Johar have tested positive for COVID-19.
Riddhima Kapoor Sahni took to Instagram to clear the confusion and deny the rumors. She shared a screenshot of a tweet where somebody had claimed that Neetu Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor had contracted virus from Agastya Nanda who is the grandson of Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson after he visited their home for Neetu Kapoor’s birthday. On Saturday, Amitabh Bachchan and his son Abhishek Bachchan were tested positive for COVID-19. She wrote,
“Attention seeking? Least verify/clarify! We are fit, We are good! Stop spreading rumors! #lunatics.”
Many of them in the comment section supported her and asked her to take legal action against those who are spreading false rumors about their health.
Amitabh & Abhishek Bachchan Tested Positive
Superstar Amitabh Bachchan tested positive for the novel coronavirus yesterday. Even as people were wishing him a speedy recovery, Abhishek Bachchan too announced that he has also been tested positive.
Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan have been admitted to the Nanavati Super Specialty Hospital in Mumbai. On Sunday, the spokesperson of the hospital came out and revealed that the condition of the superstar is stable. He said,
“Amitabh Bachchan is stable with mild symptoms and is currently admitted in the isolation unit of the hospital.”
Both the father and son took to Twitter and posted about their health on Saturday night. First, it was Amitabh Bachchan who announced he has been positive. He wrote,
“I have tested COVID positive. Shifted to Hospital. Hospital informing authorities, family and staff underwent tests, results awaited All that has been in close proximity to me in the last 10 days are requested to please get themselves tested.”
Moments after that, Abhishek Bachchan too posted an update about his health and informed people that both him and Amitabh have mild symptoms. He also asked people to not panic. He wrote,
“Earlier today both my father and I tested positive for COVID 19. Both of us having mild symptoms have been admitted to the hospital. We have informed all the required authorities and our family and staff are all being tested. I request all to stay calm and not panic. Thank you.”
