Its first time in 28 years, the idol of Ram Lalla will be moved from the temporary structure in Ayodhya for the construction of the temple at Ram Janmabhoomi. The idol will be shifted to a bulletproof fiber structure which will have a transparent glass screen so that devotees can have ‘uninterrupted darshan, said the sources.
Ram Lala shifted after 28 years
The sources said that the idol has to be shifted as the construction of the temple will commence from the ‘garb griha’ (sanctum sanctorum ).
According to the information shared by the secretary of the Ram temple trust, Champat Rai, Ram Lala will be placed towards Manas Bhawan building, just 150 meters away from the sanctum sanctorum. However, the idol will be placed within the temple premises. Once the construction of the ‘garb griha’ is complete, the idol will be shifted back to the original place.”
The specific place is especially identified by office bearers of the Ram temple trust following the advice of the engineers and architects committed in the construction of the Ram Temple.
The specifically designed structure which will temporarily house the idol will be coated with fiber sheets from three sides and will have a covering.
“At the front side of the structure, the canopy will have a transparent bulletproof glass screen to grant devotees unlimited darshan of Ram Lala” Rai added.
Yogi Adityanath on Ram Temple construction
Speaking on Ram Temple construction, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had earlier said that a way has been paved for the construction of a grand Ram temple under the direction of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
“After waiting for almost 500 years, a monumental temple will be constructed in Ayodhya. The memorable judgment given by the top court in November last year grants a very positive message across the globe. We all should respect and have faith in our judiciary.” Yogi Adityanath said.
“Previously when I used to come to Ayodhya, all the seers and Gurus including Nritya Gopal Das used to question me when the temple construction would begin? I always advised them to have patience but now it is clear that a temple will be constructed on the birthplace of Lord Ram,” he added.
