The number of cases of Coronavirus in the state has been increasing every day. In Bengaluru too, there is a sudden spurt in the cases. In a recent development, reports have come in that a woman employee of a printing press located in Rajajinagar has tested positive for the virus.
Source of infection unknown
For the authorities, as much as identifying a COVID-19 victim, it is equally important that they find out the source of infection. It is the only possible way for them to stop further spread of the virus. However, in this case, the officials, so far, have not been able to trace the source of infection.
A resident of Shivajinagar, the woman was tested for the virus after she started displaying symptoms of the infection. She has been tested positive, and reports reveal that her husband is also displaying symptoms of the virus right now.
More than 30 members working in the printing press
The officials have revealed that more than 30 members were working in the printing press. Everyone has been contacted and has been ordered to undergo home quarantine by the health department. The press has been closed and has been ordered for sanitization by the relevant officials.
Bengaluru, despite mostly controlling the virus, is slowly seeing the number of cases increase. While the reopening of the economy and the state borders can be pointed out as the major reason, it needs to be seen how the government would tackle the situation.
