India on Tuesday defeated Pakistan by 10 wickets in the semi-final of the ICC U-19 World Cup, to make their way to the finals. The match also showcased some of the silly incidents that revealed the stupidity of Pakistan cricketers. The men in green batsman suffered a funny run-out in the U-19 World Cup semi-final against India which proves that some things never change.

A horrible mix-up

The incident happened in the 31st over of Pakistan innings when the men in green batsmen were going good against the Indian bowling attack. Qasim Akram and Rohail Nazir were building up a great partnership giving the team a steady score. Ravi Bishnoi, the spin bowler, who was bowling in the middle, bowled a fuller delivery to Qasim who hit it towards cover and seemed in a rush for a quick single.

However, Rohail, who was running from the nonstriker’s end, changed his mind and decided to get back, leaving both batsmen running at the same end.

Atharva Ankolekar was smart to collect the ball and throw it towards wicket-keeper Dhruv Jurel, who took the bails off in a blaze and claimed Qasim’s wicket.

Somethings never change

It was a hilarious mix-up between the two Pakistan batsmen as confusion ruled in the middle. It was another misery of Pakistan which confirmed a point that somethings never change.
