‘Opposition Helped Mafia Grow In Last 15 Years’, Yogi Adityanath Attacks Opposition

On Friday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath attacked the opposition parties for brewing mafia elements in the state during their rule of 15 years.

Comparing his government with the previous governments, he said that the current government is taking decisive action against the mafia elements. He was addressing the BJP workers un the Malhani Assembly constituency in Jaunpur ahead of the by-election that is scheduled to take place on the 3rd of November. Adityanath also said that the major difference between the BJP and the opposition is the decisive action taken by the BJP and zero tolerance towards crime. He said,

“It is no secret that during the past 15 years, the opposition parties in the state have only nurtured these mafias. The mafia elements grabbed the land of the poor and set up their empire with the help of political parties.”

During the virtual address, Adityanath stressed the motto of the party ‘sabka saath sabka vikaas’ and said,

“There is no alternative to development and the nefarious designs of the oppositions can be countered only through development.”

He also criticized those who have no faith in the developmental programs of the state but are only interested to pollute the atmosphere of caste, religion, and region. He encouraged the party workers to spread the message of development and take people out of the atmosphere of negativity. He also lauded the work done by the workers during the COVID-19 pandemic and called the work as beyond ordinary.

In the same address, the Uttar Pradesh President of the BJP, Swatantra Dev Singh stressed that the most important factors in campaigning are mass contact and communication. He said,
