Being a Bengalurian, you might have tried Dose’s of different kinds but this one is special – a loaded Mutton Kheema Dose. Sounds interesting? Thanks to Bengaluru for having such a diversity in food and truly, this city is foodie’s paradise if nook and corners of it are well-known. Today, we are talking about Kani’s Kitchen located on Queen’s road known for its food varieties – by and large.
The Menu of Kani’s Kitchen
Kani’s kitchen is darshini-type of hotel serving varieties both in Veg and Non-Veg. They have everything from meals to breakfast but we are interested only in their Mutton Kheema Dose; the star of the menu. It is a layered Dose which comes with a fried egg and Kheema loaded with a peculiar kind of Masala. With deeply cooked on a pan for long, it gets thicker to have that bulky texture. Ahh, it tastes so good that you go on gobbling one bite after the other, just like that. One Dose can easily fill your stomach but you still carry and hog on to that craving.
Kani’s Kitchen is largely known for its madurai style of cooking. If you love Paniyarams and Kothu Kari (minced mutton curry) then this is the place for you. These two are like a combo made in heaven.
Big Thumbs Up for Biriyani
If you are here for lunch then Biriyani is a must-order. It will be loaded with cashews and spices. You just can’t afford to miss it. Also, Omelette is equally good coupled with super-awesome Kebabs. In Veg, you can try their Pongal Dose, Podi Dose, Paneer Butter Masala, Carrot Halwa, Pulao, and the Gobi. Everything here is reasonably priced and yes, veg and non-veg are not mixed which you don’t get to see in other hotels.
Do you miss Arun Ice cream? We know that these days, it is hard to find them in a city like Bengaluru but say what, you have it here. You can have the delicious Arun Ice cream and walk out with a good sounded Burp. Hehe!
