While the comments of HDD regarding lockdown have made noise, HD Kumaraswamy’s frequent interaction with media and Nikhil Kumaraswamy’s marriage have all occupied the front pages. The latest addition to this list is HD Deve Gowda’s elder son and former state minister HD Revanna.
HD Revanna comes to the aid of many in his constituency
The nationwide lockdown has imposed strict restrictions on the citizens of the country, which has naturally affected the livelihood of the poor in India. Amongst the highest impacted, are the farmers, who have been toiling hard to sell their products during this phase.
Known to rally for the cause of farmers, the family of HD Deve Gowda, especially HD Revanna has stepped forward to help the community.
Revanna inspires with his activities in Holenarasipura
Earlier today, Mr. Revanna traveled to the APMC Yard in Holenarasipura and purchased loads of vegetables that had come from surrounding villages to the marketplace. In one shot, he cleared the issues of farmers, who had been struggling to sell their products.
However, not stopping there, the former Minister distributed what he had purchased to the needy in the constituency. Using the Diary-Network in each village, Mr. Revanna ensured that the vegetables were passed on to the poor people in the region.
With this move, the veteran leader has cleared the issues of two sectors of people in a single day. It has to be made note that, Revanna himself had visited the Yard and followed all the rules of social-distancing during the activity.
