Subramanian Swamy, who has been vocal about the need for a CBI inquiry into the case of Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, has now made allegations that the death might be connected to dons in Dubai.
In a series of tweets, Subramanian Swamy had claimed that popular actors of the Hindi Film Industry like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Aamir Khan has links with Dawood Ibrahim. However, a former bureaucrat, RVS Mani, has come in support of Swamy’s statement and has urged the central agency to probe the Dubai and Dawood angle in the case. Speaking to Times Now, Mani said,
“I think the CBI should dig deeper. Not just laterally but horizontally. Dig out more and more about the presence of these types of Mafia dons among corporates. Bollywood linkages can be brought out. This is a very well sent opportunity by the Supreme Court. I hope they do justice to their job. The entire trail has to be previewed about the growth path and the integrative approaches of these crime syndicates of Bollywood groups and elements in Mumbai police have to be brought forth.”
‘Are Khans Above Law?’
On Wednesday, the Supreme Court pronounced the verdict in the Rhea Chakraborty’s plea seeking a transfer of the case from Patna. The court directed the Central Bureau of Investigation to take up the case and look into it.
Earlier, Swamy had taken to Twitter and wrote,
“The assets created by these 3 Khan Musketeers in India and abroad especially in Dubai need to be investigated. Who gifted them bungalows and properties there and how they bought it and the cartelization needs to be investigated by SIT of ED, IT, and CBI. Are they above the law?”
The CBI might now look into the new angle which will give a new dynamic to the investigation and the case.
