Few Restaurants In Bengaluru Trigger The ‘Takeaway’ Option After Almost 45 Days

Few restaurants in Bengaluru have triggered the ‘takeaway’ option, a move that is set to help citizens across the city who are not yet feeling confident about the food-delivery services.

Food-delivery services in the city have been busy

Ever since the lockdown was imposed, food delivery services in the city have been very busy. Although the situation was grim at the start, later on, services like Swiggy and Zomato picked up, courtesy the long barren period of junk food unavailability. The services have also been involved in the delivery of groceries, and essential needs during this period.

Not many are still confident about food delivery services

Nevertheless, not many have been entirely confident of these services despite the best attempts of these companies to ensure protection to the consumers. The fact that a few cases of delivery-personnel reporting positive for the virus across the country increased the doubts of many.

A few hotels open up the takeaway option

A resolution to all the above problems, after the Government relaxed the mobility norms in the country, a few hotels in Bengaluru have enabled the takeaway service at their premises. Although the dine-in facility is still not available, the takeaway option is still a decent proposition for the foodies.

Popular restaurants such as Nandhana Palace, Empire Restaurant, Vasudev Adiga’s, KFC, Karavalli, Truffles, and Mangalore Pearl have already enabled the takeaway option.
