Deepika Padukone reportedly broke down thrice during the investigation by Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Saturday. However, she was asked by NCB not to play the ’emotional card’.
Deepika and others grilled on Saturday
On Saturday, Deepika Padukone, Shraddha Kapoor, and Sara Ali Khan were interrogated by NCB in connection to the drug conspiracy with a possible link to Sushant Singh Rajput’s case. The three actresses were grilled for over six hours by the Bureau.
On Sunday, the agency seized mobile phones of Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, and Rakul Preet Singh in its probe into the alleged drug abuse in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case.
Deepika broke down thrice during the probe
Deepika appeared at the NCB office in Colaba at around 10 am and left the premises at 3:30 pm. It has been reported that the ‘Om Shanti Om’ actress broke down thrice during the probe. Earlier, Deepika’s husband Ranveer Singh had requested NCB if he could accompany her to the interrogation as she had anxiety issues.
As she broke down, Deepika reportedly admitted that the Whatsapp chats were about drugs. However, as per inside sources, she denied the consumption of any narcotic substance.
NCB officers requested Deepika not to play the ’emotional card’ during the grill. Also, it has been suggested that the Bollywood A-lister was not asked any questions about the investigation surrounding the death of Sushant Singh Rajput. It has also been revealed that no questions were asked about Rhea Chakraborty too.
While that was about Deepika, Sara Ali Khan is said to have admitted that Sushant used to consume drugs during film shoots in the vanity van. Rakul Preet Singh is said to have confessed to the authorities that Rhea Chakroborty used to deliver drugs to her house.
