COVID-19: No Cases Reported in Bengaluru, In The Last Two Days

It has been reported that, in the last 48 hours, no case of COVID-19 has been reported in Bengaluru. While, 33000 complete quarantine of 14 days in Karnataka

While the COVID-19 outbreak has been causing mayhem across the country in the last weeks, the citizens of Bengaluru can heave a sigh of relief, as per the latest data. In the last two days, Bengaluru has not witnessed any cases of the deadly virus.

On the other hand, Karnataka stands third in the list of the highest COVID-19 cases in the country. Kerala and Maharashtra have reported the highest number of cases in the country so far.

Karnataka’s current status is 88 confirmed cases

Although Bengaluru has not seen a single case, the neighboring city of Mysore has witnessed a few cases on Monday. With almost 4 new cases reported in the cultural capital of the state, Karnataka’s current tally stands at 88.

33000 complete quarantine of 14 days in Karnataka

Today, around 33000 people have been discharged after a quarantine period of 14 days. The news is encouraging, considering the rising number being witnessed across the globe.

Also, today the State Government released a notification saying that all the quarantined candidates will have to share their selfies to the government officials every one hour. While an app has already been introduced, measures are being readied to validate the authenticity of the photographs. The government has taken the measure after several cases of quarantine-violation were reported in the past weeks.
