Indian Army is similar to the Pakistan Army said activist Tapan Bose at Jantar Mantar. Addressing anti-CAA protesters, the filmmaker said Pakistan is not an enemy country and armies of India and Pakistan are similar.
Bose statement on Indian army
Protests are being held across the country against the controversial law since December. Media has now locked all its eyes at Shaheen Bagh, where hundreds of women have been staging a sit-in for over a month, as they march towards Jantar Mantar.
Activist Tapan Boss, who was also a part of the protest in Jantar Mantar, said the Indian army killed our people and it was similar to the Pakistan army.

“Pakistan is not an enemy country our armies are alike too, their army kills their people and our army kills our people, there is no difference between them,” Tapan Bose said.
“If you go to Pakistan and talk to people, they will be very polite to you. In every sentence, they just say ‘compromise should happen, you do something,” he added.
Bose statements see a series of hatred
Soon his statement was criticized all over the nation, notable faces like Major General GD Bakshi lashed out at the activist stating that he feels “bad for the army men that laid down their lives for the likes of Tapan Bose.”
“I am shocked, today people from that wicked place have said that ‘Pakistan is a great friend of ours, what a kind nation’. I just want to remind them that Pakistan attacked us 4 times, 1947-48, 1965, 1971, 1999,” said Maj Gen Bakshi.

“If you want to call Pakistan a friend, for god sake leave us in peace and get the hell there, go there, go there right now. And you want to compare the Pakistani army with the Indian army? I mean I just request you to take around at the War Memorial. Do you know how many names you will count? 25,882 of our brothers who laid down their lives defending you. I feel so bad for those boys, who laid down their lives for the likes of Tapan Bose,” he added.

Indian Army serves people of India. Pakistan Army rules people of Pakistan. We defend Constitution. They violate Constitution. We die for people of India. They kill people of Pakistan. Being compared to Pak Army is like abusing us. Tapan Bose, don’t abuse us. #PakistanGaaliHai

Btw Tapan Bose needs to know that the moment you speak against the army in Pak you r dealt with an iron hand. You can get away with this kind of seditious statements in India because India isn’t Pak. https://t.co/eVKKKMrsq1

Notice the applause when Tapan Bose says Indian Army kills Indians. That should tell you about inherent anti India nature of #ShaheenBagh protestors. pic.twitter.com/4H2ExhN0iZ

Tapan Bose and likes are mentally bankrupt persons. They don't know what Armed forces does for us. It is high time that we should introduce army training in school and college so that they understand the cost of freedom.
