Rishab Shetty’s Kantara has spread its might all over the country. The film is not only receiving a lot of love and applause from fans and critics but celebrities as well. After a series of renowned personalities across south Indian film industries lauded the film, now actress Kangana Ranaut has expressed her curiosity about the Kannada action drama.

After Prabhas, Prashanth Neel, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Dhanush, and Rana Daggubati, among others praised the film, actress Kangana Ranaut also took to her Instagram Stories to share that she has been hearing “exceptional things” about Kantara.
Her note reads, “Hearing exceptional things about #Kantara So curious and intrigued about it can’t wait to see”
Film’s dream run
Meanwhile, Kantara continues to witness a steady run in cinema halls. According to reports, the film is inching towards surpassing KGF: Chapter 1’s lifetime collection in Telugu states. While KGF: Chapter 1’s collection stands at Rs 24 crores in the Telugu belt, Kantara has reportedly minted Rs 20 crores at the box office so far. Therefore, trade analysts opine that the collection of the Rishab Shetty-starrer will soon cross the collection of the Yash-starrer.
Kantara, which translates to a ‘mystical forest’, narrates the story of demigod (Bhoota) who, in return for happiness in 1870, grants forest territory to the tribe’s inhabitants with the king. The film went on to become the Indian movie with the highest IMDb rating and has even surfaced KGF: Chapter 2.
