On Friday morning, Twitter began trending the prolific filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt and alleged his involvement in the death of Sushant Singh Rajput. Rumors have been circulating on Twitter about his alleged affair with Sushant’s rumored girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty.

In a post that is making the rounds of social media suggest that Mahesh Bhatt was actively involved in the death of Sushant Singh Rajput. People are claiming it to be a murder. The post claims several things including that the CCTV camera in the residence of Sushant was deliberately shut from the previous night, there wasn’t any fingerprint on the rope through which he hanged himself, the duplicate key of the door was missing, etc. The post also makes an unverified claim that Sushant had once told Rhea that he could be killed if he was ever in a relationship with her.

After this post surfaced the internet, the netizens naturally held onto it as they called for an investigation by the Central Bureau of Investigation. However, the post has unnamed sources and is not verified by either the police or the family and friends of Sushant.
