While the entire nation is battling the heatwave, heavy rains have hit parts of Bengaluru making it the coolest city. The India Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for Bengaluru. There is also a thunderstorm warning at isolated places over all districts of Karnataka. Taking full advantage of the situation, netizens have flooded social media handles with memes.
Bengaluru Rains
Earlier, the weather department had predicted very heavy to extremely heavy rainfall in several parts of Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala over the next five days. Amid the rainfall, the residents in Bengaluru took to social media to share their opinions. While many shared visuals of rains and welcomed the weather, others spoke about traffic jams, overflowing drains, and water-logged roads.
Never expected to see Bangalore in such a poor state. Waiting in this traffic jam for more than an hour not seeing any movement in the front.
Such a poor experience from this amazing city. #bengalururains #bangalorerains #bangalore #traffic pic.twitter.com/xnBP0tzux3
