Bengaluru MP Tejasvi Surya Feel Sorry For A KBC Contestant For Picking Him Instead Of Rahul Gandhi

The young MP from Karnataka, Tejasvi Surya has a black belt in Aikido, this is what a contestant feels participating in ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’. The host of the show Amitabh Bachchan pitched a question asking about a member of the 17th Lok Sabha who is a black belt in Aikido, a Japanese martial art. Unfortunately, the contestant got it wrong miserably. Tejasvi Surya comes up with a witty tweet over the KBC question.

Narendra Kumar from Mathura, Uttar Pradesh looked confident till his 10th question. However, the 11th question of the contest made the contestant befuddle. Playing for Rs 6,40,000, Narendra was asked about a politician with a black belt in 17th Lok Sabha.

The question was, “Which of the following members of the 17th Lok Sabha is a black belt in Aikido, a Japanese martial art?” Options were– A. Gautam Gambhir, B. Rahul Gandhi, C. Anurag Thakur, and D.Tejasvi Surya.”

Taking a risk and without thinking, Narendra Kumar went for MP from the Bangalore South constituency Tejasvi Surya. The question got him off guard and the answer was wrong.

However, the correct answer was Rahul Gandhi who had won a black belt in Japanese martial arts aikido. Narendra left the hot seat with a winning prize of Rs 3,20,000.

Tejasvi Surya who was very fond of the show immediately reacted to this incident and came up with a hilarious tweet. He tweeted, “Bro. I feel so bad for you. I wish I was indeed a black belt in Aikido. You would have been a richer man today. ”

Rahul Gandhi had previously revealed that he is a black belt in Japanese martial arts Aikido. Talking about his participation in sports activities, he had also competed in the 32nd National Shooting Championship Competitions held in Delhi from 26th December 1988 to 5th January 1989. In this competition, Rahul won the number 1 spot in the 25 Mtr. Centre Fire Pistol category. As per the certificate, Rahul’s scored 271/300.

Earlier Rahul had informed “Sports has always been important in my life. Normally I play sports for at least an hour. However, in the last few months, I’ve not done it.” he said.
