Anurag Kashyap, who is a well-known figure in social media these days, launched an attack on Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal after his government gave prosecution permission for sedition charges against JNU student Kanhaiya Kumar.
Anurag blasts at Kejriwal
On Friday, the government had provided a green signal to the Delhi police to continue the legal proceedings against the former JNUSU president Kanhaiya Kumar and nine others in connection with a four-year-old sedition case.
Launching an attack, Kashyap wrote in his tweet, “Mr. Arvind Kejriwal Ji, what should I respond to you, spineless will be a recognition for you, you and AAP are non-existent. How much did you trade yourself for?”
Mahashay @ArvindKejriwal ji.. aap ko kya kahein .. spineless toh compliment hai .. aap to ho hi nahin .. AAP to hai hi nahin .. कितने में बिके ? https://t.co/nSTfmm0H8r

The ‘Sacred Games 2’ director’s tweet comes in after Kanhaiya Kumar had responded to the decision in a tweet. “Frequent actions are required in the sedition case so that the country recognizes how the sedition law was abused in this entire case for political interests. Thank you to Delhi government for permitting the sedition case,” Kanhaiya tweeted.

Sedition Charges On Kanhaiya Kumar
He also urged the Delhi Police and government officials to take this case seriously and ensure justice is delivered.
Earlier, AAP delegates had said the Law Department of the Delhi government has delivered its judgment on this matter to the Home Department after proper attention. The sanction was granted by the Delhi government on February 20, the sources said.
It all happened four-years-ago in February 2016 when Kanhaiya Kumar along with 10 other JNU students, including Umar Khalid and Anirban Bhattacharya, were accused of raising anti-national slogans outside the JNU Campus.
