According to media reports, Karan Johar’s friend has come out in support of Johar and cleared the air about his appearance in Neetu Kapoor’s bash. As per the friend, Karan attended the Birthday bash because of Ranbir and Alia who forced him to attend. Karan is close to Alia and Ranbir and he considers them as precious, his friend told. When Ranbir and Alia insisted he join them for a small get-together, Karan initially rejected. But they persuaded him dearly and he couldn’t say no to them.

As per Karan’s friend, there was not supposed to be a party as the family was grieving the loss of Rishi Kapoor but Ranbir and Riddhima Kapoor insisted Neetu Kapoor to celebrate her birthday to which she agreed.
