R Madhavan is finally making his directorial debut with the upcoming project Rocketry: The Nambi Effect. The well-known actor is also playing the central character Nambi Narayanan in the film. However, R Madhavan is now making headlines for his claims on ISRO and is being trolled by netizens on social media.
Madhavan’s statement
R Madhavan is currently waiting for the release of his upcoming pan-Indian film Rocketry: The Nambi Effect. And during a promotional event for his film, the actor gave a speech and claimed that it was the Panchang (Hindu calendar) that helped ISRO launch a rocket into space and reach Mars’ orbit.
The netizens were disappointed with Madhavan’s claims and stated that he has now officially changed into a ‘Whatsapp Uncle’ from a “Chocolate Boy.” The actor-filmmaker is now being trolled for making baseless claims without properly studying the topic.

One user tweeted, “The only difference between Madhavan & my mama who graduated with a doctorate from WhatsApp university is that he keeps his bs within the family.”

Such a dissapointment to see the man, who was once a poster boy of Tamil romantic movies turn into a WhatsApp uncle.

Yes, ISRO's job is to clarify stupid WhatsApp rumours spread by Sanghi actors! ?♂️
Also, know-it-all daaktar sumanthu can't figure out by himself, that everything Madhavan spoke was rubbish? pic.twitter.com/XjgPdx1dUP

There was a time when the entire ISRO would have turned around and laughed in Madhavan's face. In fact, he (or anyone else, including Mudiji) wouldn't have dared to spout such lies and uninformed rubbish about their programme. The Fuehrer is at heart an Enemy of Science :-/

Mr. Sumanth is a smiley expert. Could've used appropriate smiley if it was a sarcastic tweet.
Mr. Madhavan has disrespected @isro and the scientific community by saying Mars mission happened due to panjangam. Just by acting in movies he can't be a scientist, doctor, lawyer etc. https://t.co/9LXj15RHjP— Dr Nellai – நெல்லை (@nellaiseemai) June 24, 2022

So, why don't they use this panchangam to land on south pole of moon also. Doesn't the great panchaangam have techniques for that?
I know madhavan is a right wing person. This is insane but.

Madhavan’s upcoming film ‘Rocketry: The Nambi Effect’ is based on the life of the former ISRO scientist Nambi Narayanan. As the film is written, directed, and produced by Madhavan himself (he is also the lead character), I think it is safe to assume how that’s going to turn out.

Do you think the ISRO Scientists have time to waste to read tweets on such garbase talks? Why should they ridicule.. why is that the onus to prove is always on the person who is being quoted than the person who is using those quotes? Let Madhavan show facts & evidences…
