Advani To Attend Ram-Temple Event? Here’s The Guest List Of Top People Attending The Event

Ever since the day the ground-breaking ceremony of Ayodhya was announced, there has been speculation about the people who would be attending the grand event.

The biggest speculation was whether LK Advani, the architect of the Ram Temple movement would be invited or if he would attend. Initially, there were reports that LK Advani and Murli Manohar Joshi were not invited to the event which had sparked debate on social media. There were trends asking the trust to invite Advani. Some even called it as injustice. However, later it was clarified that he would be attending the event through video conference. Even Murli Manohar Joshi will be attending through the video conference.

The other speculation was about the Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray. It turns out that the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust which was formed to oversee the construction of Ram Temple will now invite the Chief Ministers of all the states and the Union Territories. The treasurer of the Trust, Swami Govind Dev Giri confirmed that and said,

“The trust has decided that all Chief Ministers from different states will be invited to the program.”

150 Invitees At The Event

Along with that, the treasurer also confirmed that the architects of the Ram Temple movement, LK Advani, Murli Manohar Joshi, Uma Bharti, and Vinay Katiya, will be invited for the event. The leader of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Sharad Sharma, says,

“There would be around 200 people including 150 invitees at the event. We would adhere to guidelines laid down by the administration amid the COVID-19 pandemic, but all prominent leaders who were part of the Ram Temple movement would be invited.”

When asked about the plan of the event, Swami Giri said,

“Before laying the foundation stone for the construction of the temple, PM Modi will offer prayers to Lord Ram at the temple and Lord Hanuman at Hanuman Garhi Temple in Ayodhya.”
