A Person Can’t Go This Low; Appu Fans Angry And Upset on Sulibele

Dr. Puneeth Rajkumar’s fans are lashing out at Chakravarti Sulibele for his controversial Tweet about the actor. The 42-year-old, trying to criticize the present BJP government, and CM Basavaraj Bommai, mentioned the legendary actor which caused outrage.


Praveen Nettaru, a young BJP worker was attacked with lethal weapons by unknown people on a bike in Bellare in Dakshina Kannada late Tuesday evening on 26th July. Hundreds of Hindutva activists staged a protest all over Karnataka condemning the recent murder of BJP activist Praveen Nettar in Dakshina Kannada.


The protesters raised slogans against the State Government and demanded strict action against the perpetrators of the crime. Many youths raised slogans “Yogi, Yogi,” suggesting that Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s model of governance should be executed in Karnataka as well.

Meanwhile, writer and public speaker Chakravarti Sulibele also took to social media to criticize the in-power BJP and CM Basavaraj Bommai for the situation in Mangaluru. The 42-year-old, while criticizing the CM, mentioned Kannada Cinema legendary actor Dr. Puneeth Rajkumar.

In a Tweet, he wrote, “MLAs complain that CM not even signs file may be lack of time But he has all the time to watch Premier movies and shed tears. During the death of Movie Actor, he gave his three days to get involved. If not this outrage he would have watched VIkrantRona for sure 14/n.”


This tweet, however, did not go down well with Puneeth Rajkumar’s fans. Several fans lashed out at Mr. Sulibele for mentioning Appu’s name while criticizing the Chief Minister. They blamed the author had brought disrespect to the legendary Kannada actor.

After an outrage, Chakravarti Sulibele apologized with a Tweet. He said that his tweet was misunderstood. He wrote, “I apologize if you (Appu’s fans) felt that I disrespected Puneeth Rajkumar in my previous tweet. I have a lot of respect for the actor. My Tweet was misunderstood. It is my duty as a fan of Puneeth”
