A man from Bengaluru mistook Zomato for BookMyShow and gave a movie review for a restaurant instead of food. Check out what the restaurant has to say.
Movie review on Zomato?
Our generation is too serious about Internet feedback when it comes to buying any product in the online market. We form opinions by reading what we see on the web and like to share those opinions with others. But, not all feedbacks are genuine, some may be meaningless and some might be hilarious. A similar thing happened to a woman while she was scrolling through the reviews of a restaurant in Zomato.
Adyar Ananda Bhavan (A2B) in Bengaluru got an unusual review on Zomato which has nothing to do with food. A man actually posted a review of the Kannada action-thriller film Kantara on Zomato and here’s how the restaurant responded.
Bengaluru-based digital creator, Soumya Gopi recently discovered an unusual review of Adyar Ananda Bhavan’s Marathahalli outlet on Zomato. Gopi shared a picture of the review on Instagram along with the caption “Happened to see this unique review on Zomato recently and the best part is A2B’s reply”.
The Zomato review, which came out unexpectedly, goes like this —“Kantara…It’s not just the best film of the year, it’s a finest work piece of Cinematic Excellence. Story is enchanting and with engaging screenplay it’ll keep you hooked to the film and if you can understand the mythological aspects of this film then it’ll be a true Masterpiece from Kannada film industry”.
The reply
But this didn’t end here, what’s even funnier is Zomato’s reply. The food platform responded to his “film review” like this — “Dear Gireesh, Thank you for choosing A2B. Reviews like this give us the motivation to provide the best quality service to you every time.”
