Darshan’s Kranti, which made a tremendous impact even before the release, continues to do the same after the release too. The mass commercial entertainer, which hit the theatres on Republic day, is reportedly the latest to join the 100 crore club list.

The commercial entertainer starring Darshan Thoogudeepa has officially crossed a Rs 100 crore gross collection, which includes the satellite and digital rights, which have been sold for a whopping price and also earns from the theatre business, reported Times Of India.
Speaking about the collections, Kranti collected Rs 25 cr plus on its fifth day at the box office. and its total collections stand at Rs 109 cr. Meanwhile, the makers are very pleased that ‘Kranti’ is going very strong in all the mass areas like Bengaluru Kolar, Tumkuru, Mysuru Mandya Coorg, Hassan, Chitradurga, Davangere Bellary, Hubli, Dharwad, Shivamogga, Belgaum, and Hyderabad-Karnataka belt. ‘Kranti’ is undoubtedly creating big waves at the box office.
About the film
Written and directed by V Harikrishna, Kranti is a combination of a family entertainer and a mass film with an effective message of saving government schools. Producer Shylaja Nag, who is happy with the film’s outcome, said that Darshan’s mass fan following has helped in the film being a remarkable hit in single theatres across the State, and also has catered to multiplex audiences.

Also starring Ravichandran and Sumalatha in crucial roles, Kranti features Rachita Ram, Samyuktha Hornad, Vainidhi Jagadish, and Sadhu Kokila. With cinematography by Karunkar, Kranti had Harikrishna doubling up as music director.
