Kantara’s music composer Ajaneesh Loknath makes an interesting revelation about the film’s sound effects.
Sound effects for Kantara were done manually
One of the reasons Rishab Shetty’s ‘Kantara’ going to be a smashing hit at the box office is its jaw-dropping sound effects. The background score of the movie was composed by Ajaneesh Loknath and he is also one of the reasons for the film’s success. The film’s song and background score worked splendors in sweetening the audiences’ viewing experience in theatres and taking the film to new levels while watching on the big screen.
One cannot ignore the war cry of the demigod, giving goosebumps to the audience while watching Kantara on the big screen. It resulted in creating a separate fan base just for the screech alone. Ajaneesh Loknath reveals how these sounds were created. In an age where computers are utilized to create outstanding sound effects, Ajaneesh claims that no computers were used to create sound effects in ‘Kantara’.
The Gaggar sound
After its digital premiere, Kantara is now all set for its Television debut. In a promotional video shared by Star Suvarna, Ajaneesh Loknath is heard saying, “God’s screeching, the sound of the beads in God’s treasure, the sound of the rattle… nothing is generated on a computer. We recorded every sound there.” Adding. “While doing DTS work, we still need good sound, so our sound mixer Rajakrishna sent a team from here to there and recorded the sound of Gaggar.”
After the demigod’s screech became viral, social media users were seen using the sound to make reels on Instagram. Later, Rishab Shetty pleaded to his fans to not recreate the screech as he viewed it as disrespectfulness to the gods.
