While Rashmika Mandanna has been at the receiving end of KFI fans’ trolling ever since she decided to focus on Tamil, Telugu, and even Hindi cinema, for allegedly overlooking Kannada cinema, forgetting her roots, and, not speaking in Kannada, among many other things. KGF maker Prashant Neel is also believed to be the latest to face this backlash. The consequence – he just left social media.

Prashanth Neel came into the limelight with KGF starring Yash. On the occasion of Yash’s birthday, Prashanth Neel wished Yash but netizens started trolling him. Fans constantly targeted the director for working in another film industry instead of the Sandalwood or the Kannada Film Industry.

“If we are really concerned about our state, language and country, let’s do the needful in upcoming elections. Targeting others blindly for using their own movie dialogues & phrase is not the right way. Let us not allow the extremist kill our humane qualities,” wrote a user.
