Kantara’s writer, director, and lead actor Rishab Shetty once again trolled Rashmika Mandanna. Rishab was asked if he is ready to cast her again in his upcoming movies. His reaction is hilarious.
Rishab trolls Rashmika again
Telugu actress Rashmika Mandanna is currently one of South India’s most sought-after actresses. However, the 26-year-old received some backlash recently for failing to recognize the Kannada production house, which launched her into films. The issue got worsened after Rishab Shetty, the director of Kantara, made his displeasure clear in an interview by calling Rashmika a disrespectful actress.
Following this, many demanded that Rashmika be banned from the Kannada industry. Reacting to the criticism, the ‘Pushpa’ actress said she only has love for the Kannada audience. “I only love them. Rest is up to them,” she said when reporters asked for her response to the demand to ban her from the Kannada film industry.
Now, after it looked like everything was cooled off, Rishab Shetty again took a dig at the Dear Comrade actress in an epic way.
In a recent interaction with fans, Rishab Shetty was asked if he will work with Rashmika once again. “Will you enrich the colors again with Rashmika for your upcoming films?” To this, Rishab came up with a sarcastic reply, said, “She has colored me enough, what else do you want me to do (Rashmika failing to recognize his production house)?” and laughed.
Continuing with the question, the fan asked if he will continue to be in touch with her for a film even after recent controversies.
“After this event (Interaction with Fans) I don’t know what I will be doing. So it’s hard to take any such call. When I write a story I imagine who will suit the characters, That’s what I think,” said Rishab.
“We all respect her (Rashmika) journey. And yes it’s something to be cheered that our film helped her achieve this success. This is it, I have no other thoughts for her,” he adds.
