“Patch up between 2 Kannada stars” Darshan pens down an Emotional Note

Challenging star Darshan, who was attacked by a miscreant in a recent incident, has thanked his Kannada colleagues and fans for extending support in this situation. The actor took to his social media handles and thanked them with a lengthy note.

Darshan opens up about the attack

After the incident involving a slipper attack on the Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa, the Kranti actor has finally responded and thanked his Sandalwood colleagues including Kichcha Sudeep for supporting him.

Taking to his social media handle, the Yajamana actor wrote – ‘I realize that my celebrities (fans) are more hurt than me at this point. Such events make a person stronger and not weaker. We have seen similar examples in our own motherland. Thank you to all the friends and actors in the film industry who stood behind me. Thanks also to some who tried to steer this event down the wrong path.”

“I have been saying since the beginning that if there are a hundred people who want to spoil it, there will be millions who want to rejoice it. This slave is forever indebted to your loving embrace,” he adds.

The incident

For the unversed, Challenging Star Darshan recently participated in a promotional event for his upcoming film Kranti. A miscreant at the event, who is said to be a fan of the late Puneeth Rajkumar, threw a slipper at the actor while addressing the audience.

After the incident, many Kannada actors including Kiccha Sudeep, Sharan, Shivarajkumar, Anu Prabhakar, and many others have extended their support to Darshan as the disturbing incident shook the Sandalwood.

On the work front, Darshan who is known for action films is currently promoting his forthcoming action drama Kranti. Written and directed by V. Harikrishna, Kranti fronts Darshan, Rachita Ram, and Ravichandran in the lead roles.

Darshan even thanked his all-time rival Kichcha Sudeep for supporting him. In a Tweet, he wrote, @KicchaSudeep Thank you for your kind words.

This film marks the third collaboration of Darshan with Rachita after their 2013 romantic comedy Bulbul and the 2014 action drama Ambareesha.
