Kantara actor Pramod Shetty has opened up about the ongoing controversy with Rashmika Mandanna and her comment against Rishab Shetty’s film Kantara.
Sensible Answer
Rishab Shetty has reached new heights of stardom with his latest release Kantara. From box office collections to reviews, the film has done tremendously well in every aspect. Lately, the actor is in the headlines after he made a sarcastic comment about South actress Rashmika Mandanna. Now, it is Pramod Shetty, one of Rishab’s closest friends, who has opened up about the ongoing argument.
While speaking to a Youtube Channel Pramod Shetty spoke about what he thinks about Rashmika Mandanna’s growth as an actor and her latest comment on Rishab Shetty’s film Kantara.
“We all know she worked in Kirik Part and the same director has helmed Kantara. She too knows the fact and she also loves the cinema. It’s ok if she has not watched the film, she might have been busy with her own films,” said Pramod.
“Let her have her space. You (The media) should also calm down with this. It’s not necessary for a person to remain in the same place where he/she started the journey. Every person wants to go further and further one step at a time. So, it’s her luck that has made her a star. She has acquired new heights.”
“Finally, we should never make rude remarks to a person who is basking in success. Even though they might have left us we shouldn’t make nasty comments. She is building her life on her own, who are we to talk about them? It only makes us look like kids,” the actor concludes.

The controversy
It all started after Rashmika said she did not watch Kantara and she refrained from mentioning the name of the production house Paramvah Studios, co-founded by Rakshit Shetty, her former fiance.
After this, fans were annoyed by her disrespectful attitude and slammed her for being ungrateful to Rakshit Shetty’s production house.
