Rishab Shetty’s Kantara has already become a blockbuster from Sandalwood, and now it has become one of the highest-rated Indian films on IMDB. As the Hindi version of the film was released today, mindblowing reactions are coming from the audience.

The film is written and directed by Rishab Shetty, Kantara is a period-action thriller that explores the traditional culture of Kambla and Buta Kola. Rishab plays two distinct characters in the movie. The cast also includes Kishore, Achyuth Kumar, Sapthami Gowda, and Pramod Shetty. Kantara has collected nearly Rs 60 crore in Karnataka so far.

In the video, the interviewer Suraj Kumar asked Rishab Shetty to stand up from his seat. He then hugged the Kantara actor expressing his happiness to meet the star. Rishab was surprised when the interviewer falls into his leg and expressed his gratitude. He said, “I am stunned after watching your performance. I have become a huge fan of your work. I don’t usually do this to anyone, I just went blank after watching the film. In my experience I have never seen a film like this.”

Kantara opened to rave reviews and has been taking the box office by storm. The success of the film, of course, created a lot of buzz among non-Kannadiga audiences in different parts of the country, and a demand for it to be dubbed in other languages and released in theatres.
The cast also includes Kishore, Achyuth Kumar, Sapthami Gowda, and Pramod Shetty. It is Rishabh’s first release after the comedy-drama Harikathe Alla Girikathe, which opened in theatres in June.
