Hours after Mallikarjun Kharge filed nomination for Congress President elections, his old video of 2018 surfaced online where he can be seen making a hate speech against PM Modi’s ideologies.
Mallikarjun Kharge’s viral video
After Rajasthan chief minister Ashok Gehlot opted out of the presidential race, Mallikarjun Kharge became the third candidate in the contest along with former Madhya Pradesh chief minister Digvijaya Singh and Thiruvananthapuram MP, Shashi Tharoor.
Hours after Mallikarjun Kharge filed nomination for Congress President elections, an old video where he cautions the country about Sanatan Dharma and RSS ruling the nation went viral. Kharge gave this statement before the 2019 general elections. In this video, Mallikarjun Kharge first criticizes Narendra Modi’s work during his term as the prime minister and then warned the countrymen about Sanatan Dharma and RSS ruling the nation.
In this viral video, Mallikarjun Kharge said, “They did not march ahead even four steps and now they are asking us what we have done. If Modi Ji gets more power in the country, then once again there will be a rule of Sanatan Dharma and RSS in this country.”
Here’s the video:

Congress ideology
The clip of Mallikarjun Kharge’s comment during an event in 2018 was posted on Twitter at that time by BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra.
Meanwhile, drawing a common line among Digvijaya Singh, Shashi Tharoor, and Mallikarjun Kharge, Shehzad Poonawalla, the BJP spokesperson, said Digvijaya Singh had invented the ‘Hindu terror’ theory, while Shashi Tharoor created a ‘Hindu Pakistan’ jibe; Mallikarjun Kharge made a statement in Parliament that the BJP wanted people to be divided ‘in the name of Sanatan Dharma’.
On the question of Mallikarjun Kharge, the BJP leader asked whether Kharge too will face a similar situation like that of Gehlot as Kharge holds the position of the Leader of Opposition in the Rajya Sabha.
