Top South Indian director Shankar and actor Ram Charan are working on a film RC15 and the shoot is happening as per plan. But it seems Shankar is a bit upset about the actor and the decision to make this film. Here’s what we know.
RC 15
Ace director Shankar had plans to complete the entire shoot of the film RC 15 by the end of this year and this untitled film is aimed for the summer 2023 release. He also has one more film Indian 2 starring Kamal Haasan and the director plans to shoot both Indian 2 and Ram Charan’s film simultaneously.
While making the movie with Ram Charan, Shankar has a big headache on his side. It is the fact that Rajamouli projected RC in a way even fans didn’t imagine. The way the RRR director designed RC’s character was simply spectacular. It will be very difficult for Shankar to match the heroism of Ram Charan in his film with that of RRR. Largely it will be a difficult task for Shankar to satisfy the audience’s expectations from Charan after RRR.
With these challenges, Shankar wants to go all out and would do anything to make RC15 a blockbuster. However, the 58-year-old is facing problems to bring out Ram Charan’s true potential. Sharing news from the set, a Hyderabad-based media channel claims that Shankar is not happy with Ram Charan’s performance and is regretting doing this film with the RRR actor.

In a Tweet, the media channel wrote, “Director Shankar now regretting his decision to make a film with #Ramcharan. For the past one week, only a couple of scenes have been shot as Mr.C was not able to emote to a simple scene. Tamil technicians are wondering how he entered the film industry #RC15.”

After the blockbuster hit like ‘RRR’, this is Ram Charan’s next big movie, which is being made with a whopping budget of around Rs 400 crores. Dil Raju and Sirish are bankrolling the project under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations. Currently, the shooting of RC 15 is happening in a school in Saroornagar, Hyderabad.
Kiara Advani plays the female lead opposite Ram Charan in the film, which also features Anjali, Jayaram, Sunil, Srikanth, Naveen Chandra, Nassar, and Raghu Babu, and Samuthirakani in key roles. The technical crew of ‘RC 15’ included editor Shameer Muhammed, cinematographer Tirru and R Rathnavelu, and music director S Thaman.
