Bharatpe’s MD and Co-founder Ashneer Grover resigned from his own company and stepped down as a board member following the incident when his wife Madhuri Jain Grover was fired as the head of operation owing to financial irregularities.

Steve Jobs – Founder of Apple
Apple’s Board removed Steve Jobs from the company after Nine years of founding it. However, Steve Jobs did make a comeback into the company a couple of years later. A power struggle erupted between Sculley and Jobs. In the spring of 1985, Apple’s board sided with the CEO, removing Jobs from his command of the Macintosh group.
Sachin Bansal & Binny Bansal – Founders of Flipkart
Flipkart was founded in 2007 by Sachin Bansal and Binny Bansal. Sachin Bansal had a fallout with the Board of Flipkart during the Walmart buyout talks in 2018. He sold his entire stake in the company for more than 1 billion dollars and exited the company. Binny Bansal was also removed from the post of CEO months after Sachin Bansal’s exit on grounds of personal misconduct.
Jerry Yang – Founder of Yahoo
Jerry Yang founded the Internet Directory in 1994. Yang raised the company to a 22 billion dollar market capitalization. Yahoo was suppressed by the dominance of Google and following which Yang was criticized for turning down an offer from Microsoft to buy Yahoo for 44.6 billion dollars. Subsequently, he stepped down from his position as a Founder in 2009. Even after this, his name remained on board until he cut official ties with the company in 2012.
Travis Kalanick – Founder of Uber
He stepped down from the position of CEO in 2019. Kalanick’s tiff with the Board at Uber arose from allegations that he fostered a hostile working environment. Mr Kalanick had also repeatedly clashed with regulators, which had helped Uber overcome and sometimes ignore restrictions that would have otherwise prevented it from entering some markets.
Mike Lazaridis-Blackberry
Mike Lazaridis Founded BlackBerry Limited (formerly known as Research In Motion Limited) in 1984. He grew the company by riding the widely successful Blackberry smartphone which was extremely popular with executives and celebrities in the mid-2000s.
The company has struggled since then and Lazaridis relinquished leadership in 2012. He stepped into the Vice-Chairman role but has since left the company entirely following the release of Blackberry 10.
