The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has conducted raids at the residence of Dawood Ibrahim’s sister Haseena Parkar’s home in Mumbai in connection with the money laundering case. It has also been reported that raids have been taking place in several other places as well.

Sources also stated that these searches are being conducted in a recently registered money laundering case by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) against Ibrahim and his associates.
“ED is carrying out searches at several places linked to the people associated with the underworld, in Mumbai in a money laundering case. Some underworld fugitives and politicians are also under investigation,” sources added.
The role of a senior politician close to an arrested aide of the underworld don is also under the scanner, sources said. Dawood Ibrahim is a wanted terrorist for his role in the 1993 serial Bombay blasts cases.
The name of the politician is not revealed in any manner but it has been reported that the politician has shifted the press conference that he was supposed to hold at the ED Office to the party office.
