BJP MP Ravi Kishan has responded to the comments made by Anurag Kashyap that he used to smoke on his film set. The Bhojpuri actor replied in a statement to the ANI.
“Think Thousand Times Before Saying Anything”
Ravi Kishan said: “I do not need to justify what I currently do or used to do. It is my humble request to you Anurag babu. You know I respect you. You must understand what I am saying. One must think a thousand times before thinking or speaking anything. This goes for him too.“
He added: “I did not expect such words from Anurag Kashyap. It is no secret I am a devotee of Shiva so I chant his name. I am saddened he would not support me on this issue of the war on drugs and say that I smoked up and I am now clean just because I am a minister, which I am not.”
Anurag had said Ravi Kishan used to smoke on his film sets
Ravi Kishan’s replies have come after Anurag Kashyap had made a few comments about the actor-politician. Anurag had said that Ravi starts his day by saying Jai Shiv Shankar, Jai Bam Bhole, and claimed that he used to smoke up.
Anurag had revealed this when Ravi Kishan had questioned Jaya Bachchan’s ‘drug addiction is in the film industry’ comment. Later, Ravi Kishan also added: “The problem of drug trafficking and addiction is on a rise in our country. Our neighboring countries are contributing to the conspiracy, which is being hatched to destroy the country’s youth.”
Meanwhile, it seems that Anurag Kashyap just cannot stop himself from getting into controversies. In the latest development, the filmmaker-actor has been accused by actress Payal Ghosh of sexual harassment. Kangana Ranaut, in support of the actress, also called out for the arrest of Anurag.
