The Kangana Ranaut vs Shiv Sena faceoff is taking turns every day. Now, it seems that the other Bollywood biggies are being brought into the picture for their silence on the matter.
Sanjay Raut questions Akki
In the Shiv Sena mouthpiece Saamna, MP Sanjay Raut questioned Akshay Kumar on his silence in the matter. Mr. Raut is of the opinion that B-Town biggies like Akshay Kumar should have come forward and interfered when Kangana compared Mumbai to PoK. As per Sanjay Raut, the likes of Akshay should have said that Kangana’s opinion does not side with that of Bollywood.
With Akki maintaining his stance of silence, Sanjay Raut questioned the actor if Mumbai was only for minting money. Akshay has not chosen to respond to the comments as yet.
Kangana vs Shiv Sena
It all started when Kangana Ranaut said that she does not feel safe with the protection of the Mumbai Police. To this, Sanjay Raut asked Kangana to not step into Mumbai and even requested the Home Ministry to take action against her.
Kangana came back and said that she gets a feeling of Pok in Mumbai with open-threats on display. Shiv Sena leaders were particularly triggered by this comparison. Citing that she has disrespected Shivaji Raj and Maharashtra, Sanjay Raut went on to call her a ‘Haramkhor’. It is here that Raut also received major criticism in the media.
The day Kangana came to Mumbai, BMC demolished a portion of her office, and this led to a war of words again. Kangana referred to Uddhav Thackeray as ‘Tu’ which again became a trigger point.
