After a sharpshooter led by Lawrence of the Bishnoi gang was nabbed in the murder of Faridabad resident, it has revealed that the gang was hatching a plot to kill Bollywood superstar Salman Khan.
According to the police who nabbed the gang, the sharpshooter revealed that he had already conducted recce in the city of Mumbai in order to assassinate the superstar. The directions for the assassination were given by Bishnoi who is now in a Rajasthan prison. The police nabbed several accused including Rahul alias Sanga alias Baba alias Sunni who is 27 years of age. He has been accused of murdering a Faridabad resident called Praveen. The incident took place on the 24th of June. The Deputy Commissioner of Police, Rajesh Duggal said,
“During questioning, it has emerged that Rahul had traveled to Mumbai in January to conduct a recce for the murder of Salman Khan. He went to the actor’s house in Bandra for the purpose and stayed in the area for two days. He conducted this recce at the behest of Bishnoi and Sampat Nehra, another member of the gang, who had also conducted a recce to plan for the same crime before he was arrested in June 2018.”
An Action Of Revenge
According to the police, the plan to kill the superstar was because of the grudge against him for shooting two blackbucks in the year 1998. The DCP said,
“Rahul conducted the recce on the directions of Bishnoi and later apprised him of the findings. However, they were unable to take their plan to the next stage because of the coronavirus outbreak. Between 2016 and 2018, he was working at the ESIC Hospital in Faridabad on a temporary basis. In 2018, he was arrested by the Crime Branch Badkhal for possession of an illegal weapon. After being released on bail, he joined the Bishnoi gang in August 2019.”
