The untimely demise of Sushant Singh Rajput has caused havoc in the nation after he took his life on the early morning of June 14th.
Soon after the demise, the debate sparked about mental health and nepotism. Kangana Ranaut came to the forefront and leveled charges against some of the big names of the industry and alleged abetment of murder. Now, Sonu Sood, the new messiah of the country, has also spoken about the ongoing heavy issue. In an interview to Republic TV, Sonu said,
“Lot of people trying to get mileage, over this subject, that’s very unfortunate. Imagine the family living in Patna, imagine what they must be going through. People who haven’t met him in their life, and they want to sit on a debate which is unfortunate.”
Kangana Never Met Sushant
By saying so, he has taken a dig at Kangana Ranaut who recently acknowledged that she hasn’t met Sushant in her life. She had told,
“Sushant and I, we never really crossed paths. But we were always really close, you know.”
Kangana had said that Sushant might have attended one of her birthday parties but they never met. She never spoke to him. She also said that she used to get the updates of Sushant’s life from Ankita Lokhande who was his ex-girlfriend for six years until 2016. Sonu spoke about the nepotism issue and said,
“So, the only thing I can tell outsiders coming into this industry is that come only if you have nerves of steel and don’t expect miracles to happen. Just because you look a certain way or have a good physique doesn’t mean somebody from a production house will spot you and cast you in their next film. A star kid, in that aspect, will obviously have easy access. The father will just pick up the phone and speak to the director or the producer of the film and they will get a break. Tomorrow if my kids want to be in this industry, perhaps it will be easy for them.”
