Incredible: Meet Kathy Sullivan, The First Female To Reach Earth’s Deepest Point

How exciting it sounds that humans have an incredible inbuilt caliber to fly in the space and swim through the deepest zones in the ocean.

Well!!! , a famous US astronaut Kathy Sullivan has already proved this statement and achieved the impossible by being the 1st female astronaut to walk in space, in zero gravity, and now becoming the 1st woman in the world to dive to the lowest depths of the Earth called Challenger Deep inside the Mariana Trench.

Kathy Sullivan is a well- known former NASA astronaut (a veteran of three space shuttle flights) who successfully came to the surface on the subversive DSSV Limiting Factor on Sunday. With flying colors, she successfully completed the expedition of reaching the depts of over 35,000 feet below the sea level.

After Don Walsh and Jacques Picard in the 1960s as well as Titanic filmmaker James Cameron in the year 2012, this massive achievement now makes Kathy the eight-person to reach the depths of the Challenger Deep.

Kathy Sullivan shared her experience with astronauts aboard the International Space Station after achieving her goal.

She said in an official statement, “As a hybrid oceanographer and astronaut this was an extraordinary day, a once in a lifetime day, seeing the moonscape of the Challenger Deep and then comparing notes with my colleagues on the ISS about our remarkable reusable inner-space outer-spacecraft, seeing the moonscape of the Challenger Deep and then comparing notes with my colleagues on the ISS about our remarkable reusable inner-space outer-spacecraft.”

Her victory is undeniably remarkable and will be counted on as future inspiration for every person all across the globe. Kudos to her courage!!!
