India is currently serving its second phase of lockdown, which is due to end on May 3rd. While the outbreak of COVID-19 has had its presence felt in deteriorating ways, the result of the nationwide lockdown has helped the country in certain aspects.
One major help of the lockdown has been that it has given the nature some time to rejuvenate itself. With humans not populating the streets and most industries shut, pollution has reduced across the country. In fact, in some of the major cities, air pollution has taken a drastic fall of 40-50%. This has made the air clean and improved visibility. The effect, we are being treated to a few breathtaking views now and then.
