Three convicts of 2012 Delhi gang rape have approached the International Court of Justice (ICJ) seeking a stay on the execution of their death sentence. The three convicts who approached the ICJ are Akshay, Pawan, and Vinay.
Exhausting all legal remedies
After exhausting all legal remedies and a Delhi court ordering the execution on March 20, three of the four convicts in the Nirbhaya gangrape-and-murder case have now approached the International Court of Justice (ICJ) challenging the order of their hanging.
At the early hours of Monday, The Supreme Court rejected the request by one of the convicts in the 2012 Delhi gang-rape to file a new curative petition against his death sentence, refusing to once again put on hold their execution due this week.
“Circumstances say there is no remedy left. You (Mukesh Singh) have availed mercy plea. It was rejected. Warrants issued. The curative petition has been dismissed. What’s the remedy left?” the Supreme Court said.
After the culprits were left with no options but to walk toward gallows, three of the four convicts approached the ICJ challenging the order of their hanging.

After all this, twitter users are asking for an investigation to find out who are all behind helping these horrible monstrous. They feel that the lawyer of these accused can’t be alone in intentionally delaying the case.

WTF! Nirbhaya rapists are moving to International Court of Justice? This can't obviously happen without support from the usual human rights lobby who are always eager to protect hardened criminals instead working for real cause. Must be taken up at the highest level @NCWIndia https://t.co/8aCeivMpE5
